Nut Brandy is a traditional Czech liqueur with an interesting bitter-sweet taste. Thanks to its natural bitter taste, ořechovka is also popularly used as a stomach liqueur that promotes good digestion. The nutmeg is bottled after prolonged maturation to bring out its exceptional smoothness and rich flavour. The colour of the walnut is chestnut brown and becomes darker as it ages. Its possible cloudiness is not detrimental.
