Product description

THAYA Riesling 2025 from the Greetings from the National Park series is a dry white wine classified as a “late harvest” from the Znojmo wine subregion. It comes from the Skalky vineyard in Havraníky and offers a fresh and typical expression of Riesling with a distinct citrus note.

The grapes come from integrated production. The wine was produced and bottled in the Czech Republic directly at the THAYA winery in Havraníky.

Tasting Profile:

Color: Medium-intensity yellow.

Aroma: Citrus, lime zest, and dried ginger.

Palate: Fresh and juicy, with pronounced acidity and subtle residual sugar.

Finish: Medium-length.

In the glass, it captivates with its medium-intense yellow color. The aroma features classic notes of citrus, lime zest, and dried ginger. THAYA Winery:

The THAYA Winery is located in a unique place – on the outskirts of the village of Havraníky near the Dyje (Thaya) River, in a landscape where wine has been thriving for hundreds of years. The river, which was already known in pre-Celtic times (named after the Indo-European word "dheu" – flowing), is a symbol of the connection between people, tradition, and the place where THAYA wines are grown.

THAYA's philosophy is based on the belief that the time and care devoted to wine production must be evident in every drop. The winery strives to preserve traditional methods, but at the same time refines its wines using 21st-century technologies. The basic ranges are aged in stainless steel tanks, but the winery's great passion is wines aged in oak barrels. These come from France and Austria, and different barrel sizes, types of toasting, and wood drying times are chosen for each variety.

THAYA cultivates approximately 105 hectares of its own vineyards, which are located in the immediate vicinity of the winery and in the villages of Hnanice, Šatov, Havraníky, Vrbovec, and Dyjákovičky. The vineyards adjacent to the Podyjí National Park are prized for their sunny location (known since ancient Roman times).
