GRIČ Maracuja is a genuine passion fruit distillate that captures the exotic character of this tropical fruit in a distinctive spirit with an alcohol content of 45% ABV. It is not a sweet fruit liqueur, but a full-fledged distillate intended for those seeking an unusual and intensely aromatic spirit.

Dozens of kilograms of passion fruit are used to produce a single bottle in order to capture its characteristic aroma and flavor. The higher alcohol content enhances the intensity of the fruity notes, yet the distillate remains smooth enough to let the complex character of the fruit itself shine through.

Tasting Profile:

Aroma: Intense and exotic, with a pronounced aroma of ripe passion fruit and tropical fruits.

Flavor: Distinctive and fruity, with the characteristic tropical flavor of passion fruit and a balanced, warming finish.

Finish: Long and delicately tart, typical of passion fruit.

Recommended Serving:

We recommend serving and storing the spirit at a temperature of 16 to 18 °C. It is not advisable to chill it significantly, as the aromatic oils are an important part of its flavor and aroma profile.

At temperatures below approximately 7 °C, the spirit may become slightly cloudy due to the precipitation of natural aromatic oils. This is a natural phenomenon related to its high concentration of these oils.

GRIČ Maracuja offers an unconventional alternative to classic fruit brandies. Its tropical aromas, higher alcohol content, and subtly tart finish create a distinctive spirit best enjoyed slowly at room temperature.

Grič distillery works with two hand-forged, all-copper single-boiler sets with a three-stage distillation column with a capacity of 300 and 200 liters. These devices allow us to preserve and make the most of the natural properties of the raw materials.

Grič distillery offers proven classics such as varietal slivovitz and medovitz, as well as the latest gin, which is prepared with careful attention to the correct proportions and measures to ensure a harmonious result. Each batch is produced in small, limited quantities to ensure the maximum quality of Grič spirits.
