J.P. Chenet Sparkling Ice is a fresh, delicate, and fruity sparkling wine created specifically to be served with ice. It combines a light sweetness, pronounced freshness, and a fruity character that, thanks to the production method, is preserved even as the ice in the glass gradually melts.

Characteristics and Production:

The grapes come from vineyards with slightly clay-limestone soil and are harvested at optimal ripeness, partly by hand. Each step of the production process takes place at low temperatures to best preserve the wine’s natural freshness and aromatic potential.

In the cellars of Landiras near Bordeaux, the wines are selected based on their freshness, intensity, and aromatic power. The production process is designed so that the resulting sparkling wine has long-lasting effervescence and retains its aroma even when served over ice.

Color: Light gold with delicate strings of bubbles.

Aroma: Floral, with notes of white fruit, citrus zest, almonds, and hazelnuts.

The story of J.P. Chenet began in 1984, when artist and entrepreneur Joseph Helfrich decided to create something completely new – a wine with personality, enclosed in a completely unusual bottle. Thus, Joséphine was born – a bottle with an iconic slanted neck and a distinctive shape, which became a symbol of the brand and a challenge for the glass industry.

J.P. Chenet brand was born out of a desire to bring a wine to the market that was affordable, reliable and original. The first two varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Blanc de Blancs, quickly became popular and launched the brand's successful international journey. Initially, the wines were sold under the name J.P. Chanel, in honor of Jean-Paul Chanel, a close associate of Joseph Helfrich and co-creator of the brand.
