J.P. Chenet Fashion Cassis is a wine-based sparkling beverage flavored with natural black currant aromas. It offers an intense fruity character, delicate effervescence, and a refreshing style that’s perfect for unexpected guests, celebrations, and casual summer get-togethers.
Production:
The grapes come from vineyards with light clay-limestone soil, and the production process uses low temperatures to preserve the wine’s freshness. The wine’s fruity character is enhanced by natural black currant aromas, while the delicate effervescence is created using the frizzante method by adding carbon dioxide. The result is a fresh, fruity, and easy-to-drink wine with a distinctive black currant profile.
Tasting Profile:
Color: Deep pink to pink-red, with fine and numerous bubbles.
Aroma: Intense notes of black currant.
Taste: Delicate, fruity, fresh, with a distinct black currant character.
Finish: Light, fruity, and refreshing.
Serving:
J.P. Chenet Fashion Cassis also stands out for its practical 0.2-liter bottle, which is ideal for quick service and single servings. It tastes best well-chilled to 8–10 °C.
Cocktail Tip – El Diablito
Try a combination of J.P. Chenet Fashion Cassis, Agavita tequila, ginger syrup, and lime juice.
About the J.P. Chenet Brand:
The story of J.P. Chenet begins in 1984, when artist and entrepreneur Joseph Helfrich decided to create something entirely new—a wine with personality, housed in a truly unusual bottle. Thus, Joséphine was born—a bottle with an iconic slanted neck and a distinctly shaped body that became the brand’s symbol and a challenge even for the glassmaking industry.
The J.P. Chenet brand was born out of a desire to bring to the market a wine that is affordable, reliable, and original. The first two varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Blanc de Blancs, quickly became favorites and launched the brand’s successful international journey. Initially, the wines were sold under the name J.P. Chanel, in honor of Jean-Paul Chanel, a close collaborator of Joseph Helfrich and co-founder of the brand.
