Waldberg Riesling 2021 is a dry white wine that is an excellent example of the art of winemaking. This wine boasts a colour the shade of old gold, accompanied by delicate aromas of dried herbs and straw.
The palate is full-bodied and mineral, juicy, with a distinct trace of walnuts.
It is part of the Standard range, which specialises in extra-dry appellation wines made from carefully selected varieties. Production involves a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, including the use of stainless steel or concrete tanks and wooden barrels, which gives the wine its specific character and elegant structure. This wine is ideal for lovers of balanced, complex white wines.
With a rich history since 1784, the Waldberg winery inherited the tradition from the monastery in Louka. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to producing quality wines from the Znojmo region. They own six vineyards with an area of 92 hectares, where they grow grapes under ideal climatic conditions. Small batches of bottles are produced using traditional methods with minimal intervention to bring out the unique character of each wine.
