Chandon Rosé Argentina is a unique rosé sparkling wine that celebrates the perfect harmony between fresh and creamy notes. Composed of carefully selected grapes of Chardonnay (58%), Pinot Noir (38%) and Malbec (4%), sourced from vineyards at altitudes of 1000 to 1200 metres. These grapes, harvested at the foot of the Andes, give the wine a deep pink colour and rich flavour profiles thanks to the sandy loam to loamy sandy loam soils with a strong presence of limestone.
Ideal serving temperature: 6-8°C.
Chandon Rosé Argentina is perfect for toasting or as a great accompaniment to brunch. It is excellent with salmon steaks, seafood pasta or simply as an aperitif.
Its aromas of sour black cherries complemented by notes of rose petals, citrus, white peach and minerals invite deep listening and tasting.
In the mouth it presents itself as fresh and silky with bright notes of raspberry, lemon zest and cherry.
The finish offers subtle nuances of dried fruit with a yeasty undertone reminiscent of a fruit loaf. With a light dose of sugar at 6 grams per liter, this wine gets a wonderfully balanced and dry mouthfeel while maintaining a friendly and jovial character.
Chandon Argentina was founded in 1959 by Robert-Jean de Vogüé as an offshoot of the original Domaine Chandon in Napa Valley. Today, the winery is run by Diego Ribbert, a native of Mendoza who has deep roots in the extreme climate of his homeland, enriching each bottle with the unique character of the region.
