GRIČ pine tree is an extremely complex Slovak brandy, which is produced in the Grič distillery with extraordinary patience and willingness to experiment. The main ingredients of this unique composition are carefully selected juniper and the finest grain distillates, making this pine tree a symbol of Slovak distilling culture.

The main ingredient, juniper, is first macerated, then used to infuse the distilled alcohol vapours. This process ensures that every drop of GRIČ pine tree is characterized by sensory purity and a deep aromatic profile. Before bottling, this spirit is stored in stainless steel tanks, where it has time to breathe, sort and harmonise its aromas.

Aroma: Complex and long lasting, offering a rich palette of aromatic notes.

Flavour: On the palate, an elegant and versatile juniper flavour dominates, accompanied by subtle nuances of grain spirit.

Finish: Long-lasting, where you can feel the love and care of the master distiller in every sip.

The optimum temperature for serving this borovička is 16-18 °C, which allows its rich aroma and flavour to fully develop. At temperatures below about 7 °C, the spirit may become slightly cloudy due to the precipitation of aromatic oils, which is a natural phenomenon that does not affect the quality.

Grič distillery works with two hand-wrought, all-wrought, all-copper, single-boiler sets with a three-volume distillation column of 300 and 200 litres. These units allow the natural characteristics of the raw materials to be preserved and exploited to the maximum.

Grič distillery offers proven classics such as varietal plum and mead, as well as the latest gin, which is prepared with careful attention to the correct proportions and measurements to ensure a harmonious result. Each batch is produced in small, limited quantities to ensure the maximum quality of Grich spirits.
