Product description

Frizzante Valle Calda bianco secco is an elegant Italian white sparkling wine from the Veneto region of Italy - an area rich in wine tradition and ideal climate for growing grapes. The wine is made from the Trebbiano and Chardonnay varieties, which give it a characteristic freshness, fruitiness and pleasant intensity.

The name 'Valle Calda' means 'warm valley' and refers to the specific microclimate near the Oltrepò Pavese area. It is these natural conditions that give rise to a harmonious wine that is also a tribute to all the Italian wine valleys.

Tasting profile:

Colour: In the glass it impresses with its straw yellow colour and the fine pearl typical of frizzante.

Nose: Clean, fruity and floral, pleasantly fresh.

Taste: Intense, persistent and full-bodied, with a light mineral note and a refreshing finish, making it an ideal summer companion.

Pairing with food and serving:

Frizzante Valle Calda bianco secco pairs well with white meat dishes, fish or fresh cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is 8-10 °C, where the wine will stand out for its freshness and smoothness.

If you are looking for an Italian frizzante with soul, freshness and light character, Frizzante Valle Calda bianco secco is the right choice - whether for a celebration, a garden dinner or a quiet get-together for two.

About Vinicola Decordi:

Vinicola Decordi is a story of family, passion and tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation for over a century. It all began in 1921 when Quirico Decordi senior opened a small tavern in the heart of the lower Padania. He offered typical local dishes and cask red wines such as Fortana, Ancellotta or Lambrusco, which quickly gained popularity.

In the 1950s, he built his first major production plant and the business soon expanded into Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna. 1964 marks a leap forward: Decordi introduces one of the first automatic bottling systems in Italy and significantly increases production capacity.

In 2005, the fourth generation joins the company - Alessandro Decordi, son of Quirico - and in 2010 the company inaugurates a new, modern plant ready for global expansion. Seven years later, his sister Giulia Decordi joins the family business.
