History:

Since 1858, when Madame Pommery took over the management of Pommery et Greno after the death of her husband, she has taken the expansion of champagne production to a new level. In 1874 she created the first brut champagne, Pommery Nature 1874, which achieved commercial success and pioneered the production of less sweet wines. She characterises her champagnes with a purity and delicacy that reflects Madame Pommery's feminine character.
