Product description

Glendronach Peated is an exceptional whisky with a robust Highland character, combining traditional malting techniques with the richness and fullness for which The Glendronach is renowned. This whisky is specially peated and matured in casks that previously contained Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry as well as port wine. This combination gives rise to unique notes of caramel, treacle (molasses), smoked blackberries and has a rich, earthy finish.

Tasting Profile:

Colour: Bright gold.

Nose: Intense aromas of Highland caramel and molasses combine with notes of dark honey and smoked barley.

Flavour: Complex profile with hints of burnt orange and molasses accented by cloves and smoked blackberry.

Finish: Long and rich with hints of liquorice and dark fruits that add earthy notes.

Tasting recommendation:

Glendronach Peated is ideal for lovers of stronger and richly flavoured whiskies. Its complex flavours and aromas develop best in a tulip glass at room temperature. This whisky is suitable for special occasions or as a gift for connoisseurs.

Glendronach Peated is a masterpiece that combines historic whisky making and innovative approaches to maturation. It is a whisky that carries both heritage and a step forward in flavour profile.
