ArArAt has been a part of the lives of brandy lovers of many generations since 1887 and remains the most famous and successful brandy brand not only in Armenia, but around the world. ArArAt brandy is the proud bearer of the name of the majestic mountain where Noah's Ark landed. This mystical mountain is Armenia's most famous symbol. It is also home to some of the oldest vineyards in the world. The Yerevan Brandy Company has been producing ArArAt brandy for almost 130 years using a traditional recipe of Armenian white grapes and spring water. ArArAt is produced by continuous distillation from grapes from local vineyards and aged in carefully selected oak barrels.
ArArAt 10yo Akhtamar is a 10-year-old brandy characterized by its amber color with a hint of copper tones. Its name was inspired by the legend of Princess Tamara and her unfortunate love for an unknown man. According to legend, her father did not wish her love. So he broke Tamara's lantern, which she used to light the young man's way as he sailed down the lake after her each night. Without the light, he didn't know which way to swim and drowned in the rough waters of Lake Van. His last words were "Oh, Tamara". Alcohol content 40%.
