GlenAllachie Cuvee 2012 Vintage 10Y is an exceptional whisky, for the production of which Billy Walker selected the best bourbon casks and then moved the whisky to selected European wine casks from prestigious regions such as the Languedoc and Médoc in France, and casks from the Grattamacco and Recioto della Valpolicella regions in Italy. This secondary maturation gives the whisky a rich and complex character.

Tasting profile:

Colour: Rose Gold.  

Nose: Rich aromas of pastel fruit, heather honey and dried red berries, complemented by notes of ginger, caramelised biscuits and subtle spice.  

Taste: Full of layers of orchard fruit, orange peel and honeycomb, with hints of plum syrup, figs and glazed cherries. The finish is enriched with cinnamon, ginger and red berries.

Alcohol content: 48 %.  
Volume: 700 ml.  
Age: 10 years.  
Bottling: Planned until 2023. Bottled unfiltered for better taste and aroma.  
Maturation: American oak bourbon barrels followed by secondary maturation in European wine barrels.  
Origin: Aged in Speyside, Scotland.
