Milka Choco Wafers are a delicious combination of crispy wafers and rich cocoa cream, coated in fine milk chocolate. This pack contains 10 chocolate wafers, perfect for sharing with friends and family or as a tasty snack at any time of the day.
Milka Choco Wafers are a great choice for children's parties, as a treat for visitors, or just as a supply of homemade sweets. Their attractive packaging also makes them a great gift for chocolate lovers.
History:
The Milka brand , with over a century of sweet moments, was founded in 1901 by Philipp Suchard. The first bars of chocolate were wrapped in the characteristic lilac packaging, which is still an iconic feature of the brand today. The name Milka was created by combining the German words for milk (Milch) and cocoa.
In 1922, the packaging was given a golden touch with the logo and the manufacturer's name, and in 1962 the Milka logo was registered as a trademark. Two years later, lilac became the official colour of the brand. In 1972, the Milka cow appeared for the first time and quickly became the central symbol of all advertising campaigns.
In 2007, Milka introduced eco-friendly flow pack packaging and expanded its portfolio to include biscuits and pastries with the typical Milka chocolate flavour. The quality of Milka chocolate is ensured by the use of cocoa from the best growing regions such as Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana, with 80% of the cocoa coming from smallholder farmers.
Chocolate production involves careful processes from fermentation and drying of the cocoa beans, to roasting, to blending with alpine milk and other quality ingredients. Every step is important to achieve the unique taste that makes Milka chocolates so popular around the world.
