Following the iconic Red, Green, Golden, and Silver Rose editions, the long-awaited final chapter has arrived—Black Rose—Lords of Ústí, created as a limited edition of 386 bottles, concludes the seven-year story of unique Czech single malt whiskeys.

Characteristics:

Old Well Whisky Black Rose was distilled from smoked Concerto malt (40 ppm) and then aged for seven years in three types of casks – American bourbon, Czech virgin oak, and French Merlot from Bordeaux. Each cask brought its own characteristics, and the resulting flavor is deep, complex, and exceptionally harmonious.

Tasting profile:

Color: Dark amber to mahogany.

Aroma: Salty notes, mineral base, undertones of sulfur, dark fruit, and butter cookies.

Taste: Distinct black pepper, smoky dryness, fruity notes, subtle sweetness of wine wood, butter cookies, and a hint of ash.

Finish: Long, peppery, warm, and balanced with a touch of saltiness and wood.

SVACH, founded in 2015 near Český Krumlov, is a young but ambitious distillery that has quickly made a name for itself among lovers of quality spirits. It combines traditional Moravian methods with modern technologies, all in collaboration with the local Glokner brewery, creating products with a unique character.

The SVACH distillery specializes in fruit spirits, such as pear brandy and plum brandy, which are made from high-quality fruit using controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. In recent years, it has also expanded its range to include craft whiskey, for which it has modified its distillation column and alcohol vapor system to meet the highest international standards.
