Knut Hansen Dry Gin was created in Hamburg in 2017, when two young entrepreneurs decided to create a gin that would be authentic, artisanal, and firmly rooted in the region. The name and face of the brand refer to the legendary sailor Knut Hansen, who symbolizes adventure, freedom, and courage.
The basis of every Knut Hansen gin is selected botanicals from local cultivation – from Altländer apples to fresh cucumbers to aromatic basil. All ingredients are free of flavor enhancers, colorants, and preservatives so that the gin retains its purity and natural character.
Great emphasis is placed on sustainability: distillation is carried out using green electricity, the stoppers are made from Portuguese cork, the transport packaging is made from recycled paper, and the iconic ceramic bottles are fully recyclable.
