Doppio Passo Prosecco DOC Extra Dry comes from the Veneto region, the cradle of the most famous prosecco. Glera grapes ripen on the slopes of the Dolomites in the province of Treviso, where the mild climate, fresh breeze, and frequent summer rainfall create ideal conditions for their cultivation.
Vinification:
Fermentation takes place without skins at a controlled temperature of 18°C for 8 days, followed by a slow second fermentation in stainless steel tanks using the Charmat method at a temperature of 14-15°C. This process gives the Prosecco a fine effervescence and a delicate, fresh character.
Tasting profile:
Color: Light straw with bright reflections.
Aroma: Elegant, delicate, and long-lasting fruity aroma with notes of ripe apples, pears, and lemons.
Taste: Harmonious, fresh, and delicate with a well-balanced body. Fruity notes predominate, emphasizing its pleasant drinkability and longer finish.
Serving:
Serve at 5–7 °C. Ideal as an aperitif, it goes well with appetizers, light pasta dishes, or salads.

About the Doppio Passo brand:

Its mission is to spread the Italian lifestyle – the joy of life, sharing moments, and celebrating the beauty of everyday moments. Thanks to its continuous growth, Doppio Passo is now available in more than 50 countries around the world.
The story began in 1928 near Venice, when Maria and Carlo Botter founded a family winery. Their determination and passion for wine gradually grew into a brand that entered a new era in September 2020 with the creation of a joint venture between the Argea SPA group and the German wine company Rotkäppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien GmbH.
The home of Doppio Passo brand is the sunny region of Apulia, one of the oldest wine-growing areas in the world. The local Primitivo variety is renowned for its fullness, fruitiness, and elegance. It was from these grapes that the first Doppio Passo wine was created.
