Part of Barrel No. 1 was hand-filled directly from the cask, while the remaining contents were elevated to a new level through a carefully selected finish. It is precisely this approach that gives this edition its completely unique character.

Maturation:

The foundation of its exceptionality lies in triple cask maturation. The whisky first underwent a finish in a Kagor wine cask, which added another layer of distinctiveness. This was followed by a brief maturation in a small cherry wood cask, creating a completely original combination of casks. Another interesting fact is that this same cask was subsequently used to age a cherry brandy that won the title of Distilled Spirit of the Year 2025, further underscoring the exceptional nature of the barrel used.

This edition also references the very beginnings of the brand. The same bottle types used for the first History editions were employed here, symbolically closing one chapter while opening a new era. Future ten-year-old whiskies will be released in the classic bottles and boxes fans are accustomed to, making this very first batch truly one-of-a-kind.

Bottle Design:

The packaging itself is also exceptional. The cap was hand-polished from stainless steel, and instead of a standard box, this whisky comes in an unconventional magnetic box that underscores the celebratory nature of the entire edition.
