About the Bannert Winery:
The Bannert Winery is a traditional, internationally acclaimed winery with a history dating back to 1856, now run by the 6th generation. It has long been one of the most prominent names in the Retzer Land region and is regarded as a representative of the top quality of local wines.
Bannert built its strong position in the past – in 1926, under the leadership of Rudolf Bauer's ancestor, the winery was declared a model winery of the country by the state. It continues this legacy today, with the Bannert cellar considered a model enterprise for the entire region.
