LAHOFER 25 is the first white wine of the new 2025 vintage from the LAHOFER winery. It is a Moravian, semi-dry white wine, which is perfect for the period around St. Martin's Day, when wine lovers eagerly await the first bottles from the new harvest every year. The style of this wine is light, fresh, and youthful—exactly what you want to open for joy and comfort.
Every year, this series comes with a new label and a light, youthful look that matches the character of the wine itself. It traditionally goes on sale at the turn of October and November.
Tasting profile:
Aroma: Muscat-vanilla aroma.
Taste: Mandarin, blackcurrant, fresh acidity.
Finish: Youthful, juicy, fresh.
The wine is made as a fresh white cuvée from the Müller Thurgau and Moravian Muscat varieties. The aroma is captivating with its attractive muscat-vanilla aroma, which is pleasantly aromatic and enticing. The taste develops tones of mandarin and blackcurrant, complemented by a pleasantly lively acidity, which gives the wine juiciness and excellent drinkability.

About the LAHOFER winery:
The LAHOFER winery is one of the most important wineries in the Znojmo region and is named after Jan Lahofer, a native of Dobšice and an artistic woodcarver whose famous carved library is now part of the Strahov Monastery in Prague. It was the story of this local craftsman that inspired the winery to name its brand after him.
The company's roots date back to 2003, when it was founded in Znojmo as První znojemská vinařská a.s. The turning point came in 2006 after the completion of the new production facility in Dobšice, when the winery adopted the name LAHOFER.
LAHOFER produces wines from the main Central European varieties exclusively from its own vineyards in the Znojmo wine sub-region. It cultivates over 430 hectares of vineyards, including renowned sites such as Lampelberg, U Hájku, Babičák, and Volné pole, making it one of the largest grape growers in the Czech Republic.
The construction of a new representative headquarters in the U Hájku vineyard, completed in 2019, was also a significant milestone. The modern building with its characteristic "concrete wave" connects production, administration, and visitor facilities, including the LAHOtéka, tasting rooms, and a viewing terrace. The winery thus offers not only quality wines, but also a powerful experience of the place, architecture, and surrounding landscape.
