About the Blatná Distillery:

The Blatná Distillery is one of the traditional Czech producers of fruit distillates with a history dating back to 1885, when the original sugar factory at Blatná Castle was converted into a castle fruit distillery by the Hildprandt family. After a forced interruption of the tradition in the second half of the 20th century, the family returned after 1991 and continued with the original recipes and emphasis on honest production.

Today, the distillery is one of the most important producers and exporters of fruit spirits in the Czech Republic. Production takes place in a modernized facility right next to Blatná Castle, where historical heritage is combined with state-of-the-art technology. Under the supervision of experienced master distillers, premium spirits, liqueurs, and the iconic Baron Hildprandt range are produced here.

Part of the tradition is also the restored castle brewery, which continues more than 500 years of beer brewing history in Blatná. Today, the Blatná Distillery represents a combination of family heritage, regional pride, and top quality.
