Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition is a unique combination of two worlds – smooth Irish whiskey and refreshing Irish Pale Ale. The result is a delicious spirit that carries the smoothness of Jameson enriched with hoppy and citrus notes from beer barrels.
This edition was created thanks to a collaboration between Jameson Distillery and Irish microbreweries, where Jameson casks were loaned to the brewery to mature IPA-type beer – and after their return to the distillery, the whiskey gained a new, unexpected dimension of flavor.
Tasting profile:
Aroma: Floral and herbal notes of hops, grapefruit, sweet orchard fruit, a touch of wood and nuts.
Taste: A combination of hop bitterness, a light citrus touch and sweet herbal notes with a subtle spiciness.
Finish: Long-lasting and fresh, with lingering notes of fruit, hops, and roasted barley.
Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey aged in IPA beer barrels, giving it a fresh, slightly bitter character that will appeal not only to whiskey lovers but also to beer enthusiasts.

History of Jameson:
The story of Jameson Irish Whiskey begins in 1780, when John Jameson founded his distillery on Bow Street in Dublin. Thanks to honest craftsmanship, triple distillation, and an emphasis on quality, he laid the foundations for a brand that soon became a symbol of smoothness and exceptional taste.
His son, John Jameson II, took over the business, expanding the family tradition and cementing the brand's reputation as a guarantee of quality. His motto, "Live a little more and worry a little less," captures the brand's philosophy, which connects people around the world.
In modern times, Jameson has lost none of its charm—the original Bow Street distillery was reopened as a visitor center in 1997 and won the "World's Best Distillery Tour" award in 2018. Today, Jameson is synonymous with Irish heritage, friendship, and craftsmanship.
