Kraken Black Spiced is as dark as the depths of the ocean – and just as mysterious. It is named after the legendary sea monster that, according to legend, dragged a ship loaded with Caribbean rum into the depths. This legendary blend was created from the only surviving barrel shipment – a rum whose color resembles the ink of the Kraken and whose taste is truly stunning.

A story with depth:

Legend has it that a ship carrying the largest shipment of black spiced rum was swallowed by the Kraken – a monster that, according to scientists, can hide up to 3,000 feet below the surface. The barrels of rum were later washed ashore. The Kraken rum was created in their memory – named not only as a tribute, but also as a sacrifice to this invincible force.

What's more, legend has it that coffee plantation workers around the world tried to deter the Kraken with the aroma of dark coffee. In vain.
