The wine is a sparkling straw-gold colour and has a delicate mineral aroma with a slight hint of petroleum notes and a delicate fruity shade. The minerality is also the main actor in the full and harmonious taste, which is characterised by a sympathetic salinity and juicy acidity. The long and seductive finish invites further sips.
The LAHOFER winery is one of the largest growers of grapes in the Czech Republic.
Together with the company Vinice LAHOFER, it cultivates 430 hectares of land, for example on the lines Babičák, U Hájku, Volné pole, Waldberg and Lampelberg. This is where the LAHOFER Winery has placed the "Keep Your Head" wine programme. LAHOFER also takes care of the Paradise Vineyard on the historic terraces below the St. Nicholas Cathedral near the centre of Znojmo.
The composition of the vineyards includes practically all the main grape varieties grown in Central Europe. The predominant vineyards are Veltliner Green (16%), Riesling (13%), Müller Thurgau (10%), Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon, Muscat of Moravia, Pinot Gris, Riesling Welsh, Neburské, Tramín Red and Pálava. In the vineyards there are also lesser known varieties such as Kerner, Dornfelder, Blauburger and Alibernet.
