This light and refreshing rosé wine from the St. Lawrence variety is accompanied by apricot colour and aromas of strawberries, cherries and red orange. The palate is dominated by notes of citrus and yellow grapefruit with a light lime finish. The well-chilled rosé is a pleasant companion for afternoon gatherings with friends, an ideal accompaniment to summer garden parties, but also as a companion to cold seafood cocktails or pasta salads.
The LAHOFER winery is one of the largest grape growers in the Czech Republic.
Together with the company Vinice LAHOFER, it cultivates 430 hectares of land, for example on the lines Babičák, U Hájku, Volné pole, Waldberg or Lampelberg. This is where the LAHOFER Winery has placed the "Keep Your Head" wine programme. LAHOFER also takes care of the Paradise Vineyard on the historic terraces below the St. Nicholas Cathedral near the centre of Znojmo.
The composition of the vineyards includes practically all the main grape varieties grown in Central Europe. The predominant vineyards are Veltliner Green (16%), Riesling (13%), Müller Thurgau (10%), Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon, Muscat of Moravia, Pinot Gris, Riesling Welsh, Neburské, Tramín Red and Pálava. In the vineyards there are also lesser known varieties such as Kerner, Dornfelder, Blauburger and Alibernet.
