Vodka Absolut Blue is produced in one place in the world by the continuous distillation from high-quality winter wheat using water from its own well. After the distillation the product goes through a four-phases filtration process, which earns the beverage a reputation of one of the cleanest liquors in the world. The spirit is filled into unique bottles, which are washed by the ABSOLUT VODKA itself.
Bold. Original. Creative. Vodka Absolut was launched in New York in 1979. A transparent bottle without labels, inspired by a medicine bottle from 18th century, overshadowed its competitors.
It was something revolutionary, when Absolut began to cooperate with artists and philosophers. The first cooperation was realized with Andy Warhol in 1985. The success of product “Absolut Warhol” started something similar to a relay race and ever since the “absolut” baton has been passed to next more than 550 artists. At the “Spritmuseum” in Stockholm there are exhibited more than 850 pieces of the absolute art – you should visit it one day.
