Product description

A harmonious wine with a golden straw colour, the aroma combines mineral and spicy notes with sweet notes of candied fruit and honeycomb. The high extractability gives it a powerful body, the taste is clearly spicy and fruity, with higher acidity, characterised by a trace of ripe pear. It is an elegant and well-balanced wine.

The LAHOFER winery is one of the largest growers of grapes in the Czech Republic.

Together with the company Vinice LAHOFER, it cultivates 430 hectares of land, for example on the lines Babičák, U Hájku, Volné pole, Waldberg and Lampelberg. This is where the LAHOFER Winery has placed the "Keep Your Head" wine programme. LAHOFER also takes care of the Paradise Vineyard on the historic terraces below the St. Nicholas Cathedral near the centre of Znojmo.

The composition of the vineyards includes practically all the main grape varieties grown in Central Europe. The predominant vineyards are Veltliner Green (16%), Riesling (13%), Müller Thurgau (10%), Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon, Muscat of Moravia, Pinot Gris, Riesling Welsh, Neburské, Tramín Red and Pálava. In the vineyards there are also lesser known varieties such as Kerner, Dornfelder, Blauburger and Alibernet.
