Absolut Vodka was introduced in its current form in 1979, but its origins date back to 1879. It is now the second best-selling premium vodka brand worldwide and the fourth largest premium spirits brand overall. It is produced in the village of Ahus from winter wheat from the south of Sweden using a unique method of continuous distillation. This method was introduced in the 19th century by the vodka king Mr. Lars Olsson Smith. Absolut vodka is thus distilled more than a hundred times. This ensures its perfect transparency. Thanks to that, it got its name - Absolut pure vodka - absolutely transparent vodka.
In addition to pure Absolut vodka, you can also enjoy other variants made by mixing Absolut vodka with natural flavors without added sugar. We currently offer a total of 9 flavors: mango, blackcurrant, tangerine, lemon, chili, grapefruit, pear, vanilla and raspberry. The Absolut vodka portfolio is completed by the luxury variant Absolut Elyx (42.3%) and Absolut 100 in a black bottle. It is the only one with 50% alcohol, while the others have 40%.
