The Carúpano distillery is hidden in the lush and humid landscape of the Carupan Valley, on the historic estate of Hacienda Altamira de Macarapana. This hacienda represents more than 250 years of Carúpano rum history and is a living legacy of its rich tradition. Founded in 1762 by the Spanish Captain Félix del Fierro, the hacienda has witnessed the evolution of Carúpano rum, from its origins, through the pioneering era, to the present day.
