Chivas Regal The Icon is a prestigious Blended Scotch Whisky crafted from some of the rarest whiskies in the Chivas Brothers’ stock. The blend was created by longtime Master Blender Colin Scott and includes whiskies from more than 20 Scottish distilleries, some of which come from distilleries that no longer exist, whose spirits can never be reproduced. The Icon stands at the very pinnacle of the Chivas Regal portfolio and is produced only in limited quantities.

The edition was introduced in 2015. It was first launched exclusively at Dubai Duty Free in May and subsequently made its way to other global markets in September of the same year. Some of the oldest and rarest stocks available to Chivas Regal were used in its creation.

Tasting Profile:

Color: Deep amber.

Aroma: Rich, deep, and fruity. Pronounced honey notes are complemented by ripe pears, dark chocolate, and creamy orange fondant.

Taste: Full-bodied and fruity with notes of sweet orange, peaches in syrup, and vanilla. The sweeter character is balanced by notes of hazelnuts acquired during barrel aging.

Finish: Exceptionally long, rich, and sweet.

Chivas Regal The Icon is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or with a few drops of water, which help open up its complex aromatic profile.

Decanter and Packaging Design:

The whisky’s exceptional character is complemented by a hand-blown crystal decanter from the British company Dartington Crystal. Each decanter is hand-finished, precisely engraved, and accented with metal elements. Its design pays homage to the original green Chivas Regal bottle, which was introduced as early as 1909.

The stopper is adorned with the Luckenbooth motif, a traditional Scottish symbol of love, protection, and good fortune that has become one of the hallmarks of Chivas Regal.

The decanter is housed in a luxurious presentation case that reflects the exceptional status of this edition within the brand’s portfolio.
