Broker’s Pink Gin is a fruitier variation of the classic Broker’s Gin, which retains the typical gin character with juniper and traditional botanicals, but complements it with fresh notes of strawberries. The result is a smooth, complex, and refreshing gin in which herbal and spicy notes blend with summery fruitiness.

Production:

The base is a pure grain distillate made from English wheat. Ten traditional botanicals are used in the production of Broker’s: juniper berries, coriander seeds, cinnamon, cassia bark, orris root, angelica root, nutmeg, licorice, lemon peel, and orange peel. The botanicals are left to macerate in the grain spirit for 24 hours and are then distilled together in a traditional copper still.

Broker’s Pink Gin undergoes the same basic production process as the classic Broker’s London Dry Gin. However, at the end of the process, natural strawberry essence is added, giving it a fresh, fruity character without overpowering the traditional flavor of juniper and the other botanicals. It also retains an alcohol content of 40%.

About the Broker’s Brand:

The Broker’s brand was founded in 1998 by brothers Andy and Martin Dawson with the goal of creating a classic London Dry Gin that would respect the English gin tradition without taking itself too seriously.

The brand’s most distinctive feature is the small bowler hat on the cap of each bottle. Together with the image of a gentleman, it references the archetypal London stockbroker—or “broker”—and, at the same time, England’s historical connection to gin production. The brand itself describes this detail as a playful element atop a serious spirit.
