Product description

Four Pillars Shiraz Gin (officially known as Bloody Shiraz Gin) is one of the most famous and acclaimed gins of today. It is produced by the Australian distillery Four Pillars in the Yarra Valley, a renowned wine region with a cool climate. It was here in 2015 that a bold experiment took place, which today defines a completely separate category of gins.

Characteristics:

The base is the original Rare Dry Gin, in which whole berries of local Shiraz grapes are macerated for approximately eight weeks. After pressing, the macerate is mixed back into the gin, creating a deeply colored, aromatic, and perfectly balanced gin that combines the worlds of gin and wine in unique harmony.

Botanicals: Juniper, pepper, Shiraz grapes, coriander, cardamom, cassia, anise, lavender, angelica, lemon, orange.

Tasting profile:

Color: Rich, dark red-purple with ruby reflections.

Aroma: Intense and layered. Dominated by notes of fresh pine needles, citrus, spices, and distinctive pepper nuances, complemented by dense notes of raspberries and red berries.

Taste: Delicately sweet, full-bodied and juicy. Ripe Shiraz grapes, red fruit, spices and the typical juniper character develop on the palate, remaining firmly anchored in the gin base.

Finish: Long, elegant and spicy, with lingering juniper, pepper and fruity freshness.

How to enjoy gin:

Four Pillars Shiraz Gin is exceptional in its versatility. It works great in a Gin & Tonic with a slice of lemon, but also in cocktails, where it adds depth and fruit structure. It is also excellent slightly chilled on its own.

This gin is proof that innovation, terroir, and the courage to experiment can create a modern classic that has won top awards around the world.
