Product description
Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is a distinctive citrus gin inspired by sun-drenched Andalusia. It combines Tanqueray’s signature botanicals with the flavors of Seville oranges and orange blossoms, resulting in a fresh, fruity, and pleasantly bittersweet character.
Tanqueray’s signature juniper base is complemented here by an intense citrus note. Seville oranges bring a combination of fruity sweetness, fresh acidity, and a characteristic subtle bitterness, while orange blossoms add a lighter floral dimension to the aroma. The result is an aromatic gin with a Mediterranean character that shines in simple mixed drinks.
Tasting Profile:
Color: Light orange to golden.
Aroma: Distinctly citrusy, with notes of Seville oranges, orange blossoms, and classic Tanqueray botanical tones.
Taste: Fruity, fresh, and bittersweet, with dominant orange notes, citrus freshness, and a balanced herbal and juniper base.
Finish: Smooth, refreshing, and fruity with a lingering citrus note.
Recommended Serving:
It’s perfect for a gin and tonic. The manufacturer recommends 50 ml of Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla, 150 ml of premium tonic water, plenty of ice, and a slice of fresh orange. It also works wonderfully in a Sevilla Negroni, where its bittersweet orange character naturally complements the vermouth and bitters.
About the Tanqueray Brand:
Tanqueray is a traditional British gin brand founded in 1830, when Charles Tanqueray opened his own distillery in London’s Bloomsbury neighborhood. From the very beginning, he experimented with botanical ingredients and, according to the brand, created hundreds of recipes before achieving the desired balance.
The classic Tanqueray London Dry Gin helped define the modern London Dry style. Its base consists of juniper, coriander, angelica root, and licorice. Today, in addition to the original recipe, the brand also offers modern variations featuring citrus, fruit, and other botanicals.
Tanqueray is now owned by Diageo and is produced in Scotland. The brand maintains its emphasis on the quality of its botanicals, its distinctive juniper character, and its versatility in both classic and modern cocktails.
