Benriach The Smoky Ten is a 10-year-old single malt Scotch whiskey from Speyside that blends Benriach’s unpeated and peated distillates. The distillery returned to producing peated whisky in the early 1970s and uses malted barley dried with peat smoke from the Highlands. This imparts the whisky with its characteristic sweeter and woody-smoky character.

Benriach The Smoky Ten is aged for at least 10 years in three types of casks: bourbon casks, Jamaican rum casks, and charred virgin oak casks. The subsequent blending of these components creates a rich combination of ripe fruit, honeyed sweetness, spices, and intense aromatic smoke.

BenRiach Distillery Company Ltd. is a Speyside single malt Scotch whiskey distillery with a history dating back to 1898, when it was founded by John Duff.
