A.H. Riise X.O. Port Cask is a rich and elegant spirit from the XO Reserve series that combines long aging with the character of port wine casks. The blend is composed of carefully selected distillates from renowned distilleries in the Caribbean and Central America. The resulting character is full-bodied, fruity, and complex, with a distinct hint of port wine.

Aroma: Vanilla, pineapple, and banana, followed by dried red fruits and subtle notes of port wine.

Taste: Rich and fruity, with notes of port wine, tobacco, and cedar wood.

During aging in oak barrels previously used for port, the blend acquires subtle notes of red fruit, velvety sweetness, and elegant wine nuances. The aroma initially reveals vanilla, pineapple, and banana, which gradually give way to dried red fruit and the delicate aroma of port wine.

The palate is full-bodied and layered. The fruity notes are complemented by port wine, tobacco, and cedar wood. The higher alcohol content 45% enhances the drink’s intensity and structure without overshadowing its smooth character.
