Glen Moray 12YO is a bolder version of the classic Speyside single malt whiskey, created specifically for Travel Retail. Unlike standard versions, it is bottled at a higher proof of 48% alcohol and is not chill-filtered, allowing it to retain a fuller body and a more intense aromatic character.

Aging:

The whiskey is aged for 12 years in American oak barrels. Bottling at 48% and the absence of chill filtration help preserve the intensity of the aroma, the fullness of the flavor, and the whiskey’s more natural character.

Tasting Profile:

Nose: Blackberries, black currants, and freshly baked fruit tarts dusted with powdered sugar.

Palate: Rich and balanced, with vanilla caramel, dark fruit, spices, and toasted oak.

Finish: Long, with creamy vanilla and pronounced spicy oak.

Glen Moray is a traditional Scottish distillery in Speyside, with a history dating back to 1897. Based in Elgin, it has been known from the very beginning not only for its elegant, fruity style of single malt whiskey but also for its boldness in experimenting with different types of casks.
