At Bushmills, we are obsessed with oak, it’s been our infatuation & our constant preoccupation since 1608.This sublime single malt has been matured on our North Antrim Coast for 14 years before being finished in exceptional first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for 16 years. This extraordinary malt is some of the rarest small batch whiskeys we’ve ever released, and they take their place as true legends of Irish single malt.
Taste: Nose:Rich inviting sweet aromas of raisins,figs,prunes and dates entwined with treacle toffee,soft clove and sweet spice delighted the senses.Taste:Exquisite,velvety and smooth mouth feel.Sweet hints of dates,raisins and figs followed by praline and orange peel before developing into vanilla and warm pastry notes.Finish:Long complex finish that reminds you of the amazing number of years this whiskey has spent gaining its character.The dried fruit and toffee sweet notes are left lingering.
