Crystal Head Vodka is inspired by the mystical story of thirteen crystal skulls that were discovered in different parts of the world. These skulls, dating back as far as 35,000 years, are said to be made of solid quartz rock, and according to Hewlett Packard's measurements, no tool marks have been found on them. Legends claim that these skulls provide spiritual power and enlightenment, the opposite of death, but rather a symbol of life.
Vodka was co-founded by Dan Aykroyd, a well-known actor and spiritualist, and John Alexander, an acclaimed artist. Both have an interest in the paranormal and the mystery of crystal skulls, which gave rise to the idea of creating this vodka.
