Product description

Takamaka Rum Blanc is an essential part of every rum and the true heart of the Takamaka brand from the Seychelles series. This light white rum, distilled from molasses in traditional pot stills, will enchant you with its smooth, creamy character and natural aromatic undertones that are so typical of the exotic beauty of the Seychelles islands in the Indian Ocean.

Takamaka Rum Blanc is a colonial rum that is first distilled to 94% strength before being carefully diluted with pure, island spring water to the ideal bottling strength. This method ensures that all the subtle and rich flavours this rum has to offer are preserved.

With its lightness and versatility, Takamaka Rum Blanc is the perfect companion for classic tropical cocktails such as Mojito, Cuba Libre, Daiquiri or Piña Colada. Its fresh and harmonious flavours stand out when blended with other ingredients, bringing a slice of tropical sunshine straight into your glass.

Takamaka Rum Blanc has a light and refreshing taste and is best enjoyed in the company of good friends. Enhance any occasion with this unique tropical treat and enjoy your time together to the fullest.

In 2000, inspired by the family tradition and his grandfather's skill in making Creole Arrangé Rum, Bernard and his father Robert set out to produce a quality rum. With improvised tools, including a swimming pool as a cooling tower and commonly available ingredients, they began experimenting at home. After a year of testing and development, joined by Bernard's older brother Richard, they founded Trois Frères Distillery in the Seychelles in February 2002. Overcoming the challenges of remoteness and harnessing their curiosity, the brothers perfected the production of rum, which has become not only a symbol of their family heritage but also an expression of their approach to life and work.
