The company Macleod & Company Ltd. was founded by Ian Leonard Russell Snr as a company providing whisky in 1936. The company Ian Macleod Distillers has been building up its own enviable portfolio of high-quality spirits for more than 80 years and it is a proud owner of the brands Glengoyne, Tamdhu, Isle of Skye, the Scotch Whisky Smokehead and Edinburgh Gin. Today the company produces and sells more than 15 millions of spirits bottles a year.
