Crystal clear, strongly aromatic with tones of juniper, green wood and herbs. Light persisting finale with nuance of black pepper, this is Gin Xoriguer.
The most famous recipe of gin on Menorca was created in 1750 and under the name Gin Xoriguer you can buy it today. The windmill on the authentic bottle is a memorial of Migual Ponse Justo’s home – the founder of Gin Xoriguer.
Gin Xoriguer is hand-made with a lot of love according to the recipe from 18th century and distilled in more than 250 years old copper alembic stills – in which the sublimation always takes place thanks to fire of wood from the forests of Menorca. During the production the water from well in the city Mahón and carefully selected juniper berries from Catalan Pyrenees are used. These are relaxing for 2 years. This gin tradition got a prestige designation of origin “Gin de Mahón”.
