Diplomatico rum opens with aroma of orange peels, caramel and licorice. It’s smooth in your mouth and continues with tones of caramel fondant, which offers a seductive and long-lasting finish.
Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva aged for long 12 years in barrels made of Canadian white oak and then was distilled by the method “Pot Still”.
Don Juan Meléndez („Don Juancho”) is a person, who inspired the creation of Diplomático. Meléndez was interested in researching of resources, ingredients and methods, which resulted in many tempting flavors of rum and other traditional drinks. Meléndez was devoted to his ideals and beliefs and was interested in delicate complexities and factors, which affect the production of rum in the case of environmental protection.
Today the rums Diplomático are decorated with a portrait of Don Juan and the brand is driven by passion and values.
