This is a slightly sweet rum of mahogany colour with red refl ections, which matures for more than 12 years. The aroma is pleasant with a variety of subtle tones of oak, tropical fruits, fl owers and fresh coffee, which complement each other in perfect balance. In the taste are noticeable hints of fruits, fl owers, and at the end tones of bitter almonds. The taste is generally sweeter with a slightly pungent aftertaste. The extraordinary character of rums from the Exquisito series is originated by association of matured rums in American oak casks, enhancing their strength, and gives it persistent distinctive character.
