Whiskey WhistlePig was born from a deep fascination with rye whiskey. Rye, which primarily provides spiciness and less sweetness than other grains, proudly makes up almost 100% here, although 51% would be enough to classify it as rye whiskey. Today, this whiskey boasts the title of the most awarded rye whiskey in the world and continues to push the category further. And it was a former dairy farm, in the quiet, secluded area of the town of Shoreham, Vermont, that became the place where this adventure began in 2007. The motto of the group of people around WhistlePig whiskey is simple: protect what makes rye whiskey unique, get rid of the unnecessary, constantly innovate and drink your failures (often literally). Thanks to this, WhistlePig whiskey was awarded "Best Whiskey in the World" in 2017 at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
Aged for at least 10 years, it is one of the oldest and most complex rye whiskeys on the market.
