NAUD Distilled Gin is a French gin with a unique story, presented in gift packaging, that builds on the Naud brand’s family distilling heritage. It was inspired by the original recipe once created by Emile Perrier in his small distillery. Today, Jean-Michel and Pierre have carried on this legacy; after a long search for the original ingredients and repeated distillations, they selected twelve botanicals that give this gin its fresh, distinctive, and elegant character.

Production:

The botanicals are left to macerate for 7 to 10 days and are then distilled using the steam bath method in small traditional copper stills. It is this process that helps bring out the delicacy and aromatic depth of the individual ingredients.

Tasting Profile:

Aroma: Lime, grapefruit, and the scent of freshly picked flowers.

Taste: Lively and robust, with notes of citrus, menthol, and spices, particularly cinnamon, cubeb, and cardamom.

Finish: A dominant juniper opening gives way to bergamot and ends with a fresh, lingering finish.

Serving:

It works excellently in a classic gin and tonic, but also has enough character for more sophisticated cocktails.

Cocktail tip – Gin Basil Smash:

Place a few basil leaves and 20 ml of lime juice in a shaker and gently muddle. Add 20 ml of simple syrup, 60 ml of NAUD gin, and ice. Shake well, strain into a rocks glass with ice, and garnish with basil and a lime twist.
