Loch Lomond Original is created by combining distillates from our innovative Straight Neck casks and traditional Swan Neck casks. Subsequent maturation in three types of American oak casks—bourbon, refilled, and re-charred—gives this whisky its unique character and complexity.

Loch Lomond Distillery is a distillery whose story is as impressive as the beautiful landscape of Loch Lomond. The first mentions of a distillery on the shores of this picturesque lake date back to 1814, near Tarbet at the northern end of the lake; however, the exact date of the original distillery’s closure has been lost to history, leaving behind only a small number of records.

The current Loch Lomond Distillery, founded in 1965 through the initiative of the former owners of the Littlemill Distillery in Bowling, a few miles from Glasgow, continues the tradition of Scotch whisky production with boundless passion and innovation.
