LA HECHICERA rum has been produced under the careful supervision of the Colombian Riascos family for more than three generations. It all began in the ancient port of BARRANQUILLA, nestled by the Magdalena River and the curving coastline of the Caribbean Sea. Here stands a small inconspicuous building where the best artisanal rum in Colombia has been maturing for more than twenty years. LA HECHICERA is the Spanish term for witch. It is a celebration of the seductive beauty of the Colombian landscape, the colorful nature of the Caribbean and the irresistible charm of the nation. LA HECHICERA SERIES EXPERIMENTAL NO. 2 BANANA-INFUSED is a special edition of La Hechicera rum, aged in white oak barrels, where it is infused with a generous amount of organic sun-dried banana pulp. The aroma is caramel banana, with notes of tropical forest leaves, vanilla and dried fruit. The delicate taste contains hints of spices, orange confit, salted caramel and marzipan and turns into a sensual oaky finish with a mineral undertone. Alcohol content 40%
