Centenario Reserva de la Familia 18 is a premium Costa Rican rum with a full-bodied, darker, and distinctly woody character. It is produced using the traditional Solera system, in which rums of varying ages, aged in American white oak barrels, are blended. The number 18 therefore refers to this specific Solera edition and should not be interpreted to mean that the entire contents of the bottle have aged for exactly 18 years.
