Made by maceration of honey caps from bees raised in virgin nature on the border of the Třeboň basin and Novohradské mountains in an excellent apple orchard. It contains apple distillate, royal jelly, propolis, pollen, honey and is diluted with demineralized water from a 102-meter-deep borehole in the Klikovsk formation of the Třeboň basin. It contains "dietary" 24 to 27 grams of sugars per liter of distillate. A fine turbidity is typical.
Only a limited amount of this specialty is produced each year. Bees can't keep up.
This distillate is the work of a technologist who created a recipe at the initiative of a master distiller. He was inspired by a meeting with an experienced beekeeper, now also a supplier, who keeps bees in the virgin nature of the foothills of the Novohradské Hory. In the fine apple cider, the producers let the honey caps (the caps of the honey cells from the honeycombs obtained by the so-called uncapping of the honeycombs) be macerated. The lids are characterized by a large amount of disinfectants that protect the honey in a natural way from moisture, bacteria and negative influences... in short, an irresistible experience.
