OUR ROOTS LIE IN CRAFT AND NATURE
For decades, craftsmanship, nature and tradition have been shaping Dictador's unique character and fostering its cultural heritage. In each of our projects, we delve deep into history, shape tastes and push boundaries. The TOTEM project, which promotes diversity of artistic expression as well as traditional approaches to art, is no different. This time we return to our roots and the Colombian jungle. It is here in the Putumayo region that folk artists have been decorating objects with resin from the mopa-mopa bush for thousands of years. This time the canvas for their creativity became Dictador bottles of the 40+ year old liquor dating from 1982-1988.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Creamy notes with some hints of burnt sugar (top of a creme brûlée). Fresh oak, and strawberry tones, with some red cherry note too.
Palate: Sweet, with a lovely deep rich note of cola, coffee and black cherry. An over note of rich runny honey and some bergamot notes, too.
Finish: Incredibly complex, with oak spices and summer fruits mixing well
